The JOBURG PRIDE organisers have called on community organisations and gay and gay-friendly businesses to submit their applications for floats or vehicles that will be included in the Parade, which will wind its way through the streets of Rosebank.

10 000 copies of the 2007 Pride Guide will be printed and distributed to gay and lesbian clubs, restaurants, bars, shops as well as at Ster Kinekor cinemas in Gauteng.

This year's festival will culminate on Saturday 6 October in the customary Parade, followed by an open-air celebration and later by after-parties at various venues around Joburg. The chic suburb of Rosebank and Zoo Lake park have been chosen to host this year’s Pride event with full support of the city.
